special guest artist:
Angry Anderson
Angry was a guest at a merelyplayers™ Creative Industry Night on 30th May 2005
Angry Anderson grew up in Melbourne's Coburg area. He had a tough time growing up and learnt early in life to stand up for himself.
Originally working as a fitter and turner and then a clothes cutter, Angry had visions of becoming a blues guitar player. There being little opportunity for a bald and tattooed man in the blues scene, Angry found acceptance in the rock music circuit. He played with a number of bands over several years before setting up the famous Rose Tattoo, in Sydney, with several mates.

With several ups and downs, Angry explored another entertainment medium... acting. He's appeared on the silver screen 'Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome' and on stage as Lenin in 'Rasputin' in 1989 and Herod in 'Jesus Christ Superstar' 1992.
Angry is also known as a loud mouthed activist, offering passionate and practical support to many charities and causes such as the Starlight Foundation, Ronald McDonald House, Odyssey House, The Salvation Army Centre for Street Kids, Prince of Wales Children's Hospital and numerous others.

Passion, creativity, motivation and doing what's right... Angry Anderson.
