jane barton

Jane Barton writes fiction, non-fiction and drama. She is presently working on her third novel tentatively titled "An Intense Pace in a Confined Space", which follows "How to Make a B-grade Film", shortlisted for the 2002 Adelaide Writers Festival Awards and "The Half Life of Fame" which she wrote in 2003 while in Germany on a grant from ARTSA.

Jane has written freelance for the Australian and a number of other magazines and journals. She also enjoy writing for theatre, "Baked Bean Dreaming" was winner of critics Choice Adelaide Fringe 1994 and more recently completed "The Complexity of White Goods" which had a public reading in 2004 at the Imperial Hotel, Erskineville.

Currently co-writing some stand up comedy and working on the novel.
