Jody Ekert is a writer and comedian. She's currently studying for her Master of Arts in Creative Writing at Macquaire University. Known mostly for her erotica, she has been published by Alyson Books as part of the anthologies Faster Pussycats , Early Embraces and  the upcoming Ultimate Lesbian Erotica 2006 . 

But she doesn't always have sex on the brain!

Her solo stand up show White Trash Lesbian will be featured in the upcoming Feast festival in Adelaide, and Mardi Gras 2006. She also enjoys writing opinion pieces and other short stories.

Jody will be reading from her original work 'Temping: Pimped for the Corporate Cause' - a lighthearted look at the temping industry and her experiences. It's an awful experience that most creative types can relate too in their periods of unemployment!
