Matthew Krist
Matthew Krist graduated theatre school at The University of Toronto and Sheridan College in Ontario Canada. He then spent '03-'04 in Sydney Australia, acting in plays and commercials, writing a feature film (Savant) about enlightenment with UK writer/director Christian Debney and creating music videos and short films with Hilton Media (www.hiltonmedia.com.au)
Matt also worked part time at the Royal Randwick Racetrack tending the thoroughbreds. Since then he spent a couple years in Florida, training baby racehorses, some of whom have gone on to win stakes races, and developing a movie with Dreamhorse Productions. He starred in improv nights at The Marion Theatre and a production of "Enchanted April" for the Ocala Civic Theatre. |
Summer '06 Matthew returned to his native Canada where he acted in three plays by The Queens Men (www.reed.utoronto.ca). Robert Cushman of The National Post said he was, "Among the best he had ever seen in any production," and Now Magazine called him "Chameleon-like".
He also produced and edited a music video for Roam (www.imaginitmusic.com) and edited an animated short for Bravo!Fact called Flip Book. Matthew then returned to Florida where he hopes to work on his first feature film about racehorses to be directed by the world renowned Bruce G. Moriarty.
